Activewear Brands, Move

Not going to lie, it was lust at first sight.

Prior to discovering Olympia, I didn’t give workout gear much thought. I wore mismatched outfits and decade-old fluorescent pinkish green trainers (cringe). I had never stepped foot into a Lululemon store and had to give myself a pep talk just to get myself to workout.

With the rise of athleisure, this all started to change. New brands flooded the scene with stylish, sexy clothing. You could now get everything from fancy yoga mats to multifunctional gym-to-work totes, sports bra showcasing intricate strappy designs to stainless steel water bottles in a rainbow of colors. Doning cool outfits to the gym became a thing and I wanted in on it.

What I really like about Olympia is how their clothes express a sporty aesthetic in a modern and refined way. You’re guaranteed to find clean, flattering silhouettes in neutral colors in each collection.

Here are three of my favorite picks:

Two little tips:

1. Their leggings don’t compress as well as Lululemon or Under Armor, so if fit is a concern for you, you may want to shop their sports bras or tops instead.

2. I’d recommend browsing on Net-a-PorterBandier or Carbon38 because Olympia’s product photography is meh.
